Hello! I'm Waleed El-Mehalawy, a UX Designer passionate about creating experiences that resonate deeply with users.

My journey began with a love for design and storytelling, leading me to earn a BA in Graphic Design with a concentration in UX Design from Southern New Hampshire University. To further refine my skills, I pursued the Google UX Design Certificate, equipping me with the ability to approach problems methodically and empathetically.

Throughout my career, I've taken pride in crafting intuitive, visually compelling, and accessible digital products. I thrive at the intersection of creativity and usability, always aiming for designs that not only look beautiful but solve real-world problems. Whether designing seamless apps like BreadEd to enhance user health or building engaging platforms for brands such as Lamis Threads, I focus relentlessly on user-centered solutions backed by research and thoughtful iteration.

Outside of my UX career, I'm an entrepreneur at heart—founding my own culturally-inspired clothing brand, Lamis Threads, which blends Arab heritage with contemporary streetwear. Photography has also been a core passion since 2009, teaching me the art of observation, patience, and visual storytelling—all of which deeply influence my UX approach.

I’m always eager to collaborate on projects that make a meaningful impact and push the boundaries of design. Let's create something memorable together!
